Why we built HealifyMD

Midlife brings real physical changes. Hormones shift, muscle becomes harder to keep, sleep fragments, weight redistributes and recovery slows. Yet many people hear the same reply when they raise it: that is just getting older.

Sometimes that is true. Often there is something measurable and treatable underneath. We built HealifyMD so you can get a clear, clinician-led look at your situation without long waits, and so the care you receive is explained, monitored and adjusted rather than handed over once and forgotten.

How HealifyMD is organized

HealifyMD is a technology and administrative platform. We run the website, the intake, scheduling, messaging, billing and pharmacy coordination. We do not practice medicine.

Medical care is provided by independently licensed clinicians, who make every clinical decision on their own professional judgment. Prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. pharmacies, many of them compounding pharmacies. Keeping these roles separate protects clinical independence: nobody on the business side can tell a clinician to prescribe.

What we focus on

Our services are shaped around the questions adults in their 40s, 50s and beyond bring most often:

• Lab testing, as a baseline and as a way to track change.
• Medical weight loss with GLP-1 medications for eligible patients.
• Hormone therapy for women and testosterone therapy for men.
• Peptide therapy and repair and recovery options, with honest evidence notes.
• NAD+ and other longevity-related treatments.
• Sexual wellness for women and men.

Principles we work by

• Measure first. Labs and history come before prescriptions whenever they would change the decision.
• No outcome promises. Bodies respond differently, and we will not tell you otherwise.
• Plain talk about regulation. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and we say so wherever it applies.
• Evidence over hype. When research is early, small or done mostly in animals, we say that too.
• Clear pricing. There is no membership fee, the eligibility check is free and prices are confirmed before you commit.

Dr. Vanessa Niles, R.N., M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is a board-certified OB-GYN and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists with more than 40 years in women's health. She medically reviews our site content.

Dr. Benjamin H. Krasne, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and focuses on longevity and metabolic health. You can read more on each physician's profile page.

How we write about health

Our educational pages draw on FDA labeling, federal health agencies and professional society guidance. They are written for clarity, reviewed for medical accuracy and updated when guidance changes. Our editorial policy explains the full process, including how to report an error.

What a typical experience looks like

Most people come to us with one main concern, such as weight that has crept up, disrupted sleep and hot flashes, or lower energy and drive. After a free eligibility check, a licensed clinician reviews the details, usually orders or reviews labs, and talks through what the results suggest.

From there, the clinician might prescribe a treatment, suggest changes that do not involve medication, recommend more testing or point you toward in-person care. If you start treatment, follow-ups and repeat labs are built into the plan so it can be adjusted rather than left on autopilot.

What we will not do

• Let anyone other than a licensed clinician decide whether you receive a prescription.
• Sell research-grade chemicals or products not dispensed by a licensed pharmacy.
• Publish testimonials or promise specific results.
• Claim insurance coverage or discounts we cannot confirm.
• Use your health information for purposes our privacy notices do not describe.

Where we operate

HealifyMD offers care only in states where our clinicians hold the required licenses. Availability is confirmed during the free eligibility check, based on where you are located. Care is for adults 18 and older and is not a substitute for emergency services or for an ongoing relationship with a primary care clinician.
