1. Who we are and what this policy covers
HealifyMD ("HealifyMD," "we," "us") operates the website HealifyMD.com and a related online platform that connects adults with independently licensed clinicians for telehealth care. HealifyMD is a technology and administrative platform. We do not practice medicine. Medical care is provided by independently licensed clinicians and their practices ("Providers"), and prescriptions are filled by licensed pharmacies.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website, accounts, intake forms, emails and other services that link to it (together, the "Services"). When information you provide is protected health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), it is handled as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, and that notice controls if it conflicts with this policy.

We do not use tracking technologies on pages where you enter health information in a way that would disclose that health information to advertising platforms. If we use analytics or advertising tools on our public website, we configure them to limit the information collected. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, and we honor recognized browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable.

Depending on where you live, state laws may give you rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising or sales, and to withdraw consent to the collection or sharing of consumer health data. Some of these rights do not apply to information covered by HIPAA or to information we must keep by law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. 8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the periods required by law. Medical records maintained on behalf of Providers are retained for the periods required by state medical records laws, which can be many years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it using reasonable methods.
9. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and staff training. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law. Please keep your password private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. Adults only

11. Location of processing
The Services are provided in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States. The Services are not intended for people located outside the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you by email or through the Services where required. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies.
