How Floré Gut Programs works

Choose a program, collect a small stool sample at home and mail it back. Your sample is sequenced, and your custom probiotic (and prebiotic, in the higher programs) blend is made from the results and shipped to you monthly.

Who it’s for, and who it isn’t

May be a fit

  • Adults with ongoing bloating, irregularity or digestive discomfort who want a structured, data-led approach
  • People curious about their gut bacteria who want supplements chosen from test results
  • People who want to retest to see how their microbiome changes

Usually not a fit

  • Blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting or severe pain; these need prompt in-person care
  • Anyone due for colon cancer screening; a microbiome test is not a cancer screen
  • Pregnancy or a weakened immune system, without asking your clinician first

What’s included

  • At-home stool collection kit(s)
  • Probiotics (and in Standard and Preferred, prebiotics) formulated from your results
  • Free care team consultation to help you choose a program

Possible side effects

  • Probiotics and prebiotics can cause temporary gas or bloating in the first weeks
  • People who are seriously ill or immunocompromised should check with a clinician before taking probiotics

This isn’t a complete list. Your clinician reviews risks, interactions and warnings with you before prescribing. In an emergency, call 911.

What the evidence says

Gut microbiome research is growing quickly, but there is no agreed definition of a healthy microbiome, and personalised probiotic formulas have limited trial evidence. Results are best treated as one input alongside symptoms and standard medical tests.

Compare the three programs

  • Basic, $299: 1 microbiome test and 3 months of Floré custom probiotics
  • GI SereniT Standard: 1 GI SereniT gut test, 3 months of custom probiotics and 2 months of custom prebiotics
  • GI SereniT Preferred: 2 GI SereniT gut tests, 5 months of custom probiotics and 4 months of custom prebiotics

How this differs from our Gut Biome Analysis

Our Gut Biome Analysis ($625) is a detailed stool test focused on digestion, absorption, inflammation and bacteria, reviewed with a clinician. Floré programs focus on sequencing your microbiome and supplying supplements made from the results. A free care team call can help you pick.

When to see a doctor instead

Red-flag symptoms such as blood in the stool, black stools, unexplained weight loss, fever or pain that wakes you need a proper medical assessment, not a microbiome program.

Prescription treatments are available only to eligible patients after a clinical evaluation by an independently licensed clinician.
